The Syllabus function allows lecturers to manage and publish the course syllabus for students. Below are the steps and features available in the Syllabus section:
Viewing the Syllabus
- When you first access the Syllabus, it starts in View mode.
- In this mode, you can read the current syllabus content but cannot make changes.
Editing the Syllabus
- To make changes, click on the Edit button.
- While in Edit mode, you can add or update the following sections:
- Lecturer
- Module Description
- Module Prerequisites
- Module Aims
- Key Contents
- Main Teaching and Learning Strategies
- Intended Learning Outcomes (ILO)
- Assessment & Grading
- Main Learning Materials & Resources
Publishing the Syllabus
- After you have added or updated all the necessary information, click Publish now.
- This will release the syllabus to students, making it visible to them.
Note: Ensure all sections are completed and accurate before publishing, as this information will guide students throughout the course.
